Vacancy: Project Sales Manager

ScanCom International A/S is one of the leading global manufacturers of outdoor furniture. ScanCom’s corporate head office is situated in Korsør, Denmark and with our European Commercial Center in Palma De Mallorca. Our production operations are located in Vietnam, Indonesia and Brazil. Our main product lines are garden furniture made from wood, aluminum, steel and Petan® woven materials.
Now, we are recruiting a Project Sales Manager to help us generate continuous sustainable growth in the European region supporting our strategic goals.

As Project Sales Manager you will after a 12 months period, be responsible for maintaining and growing sales for International customers and selected Nordic customers. It is also expected that you will create and address potential future business opportunities in close cooperation with our European sales team. Our existing client base today consists of medium/large retail chains within the DIY(do-it-yourself), Furniture and Garden Center sector.

The sales method used by ScanCom International A/S is to work through strategic and long term relationships with our clients and partners. To support this, we are seeking a Project Sales Manager to support our growth on the European Market. The person needs a high degree of initiative, and she or he should be able to lead and manage projects from start to end, to ensure success for our customers and for Scancom.

The Project Sales Manager will report to our Chief Business & Sales Officer, and will be an important part of our European sales team with a local team based in Korsør, DK. The Project Sales Manager will be able to combine working from home and in our offices in Korsør, DK and Palma De Mallorca, ES (European Commerical Head Quarter). Furthermore, you will be part of strong and dynamic sales organization with colleagues based all over the World.

We would like to hear from candidates who have experience in working with sales and commercial project management. Previous experience in the furniture industry is an advantage but not essential.

As our production is based in Asia, we require candidates who are skilled in working across cultures, time zones and languages. Your personal traits include the ability to work in a structured way, independently, and with a high degree of resilience. Fluency in both, written and oral English is essential, as this is our corporate language.
