Job description

A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:

  • The Product Sales Assistant concentrates on communication with sales/agents and customers directly or indirectly, production units, to make sure all activities related to order management is always under control.


B. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising, monitoring and making sure that all orders are timely and correctly updated in the D365 order management system by his/her staff. Product Sales Assistant is responsible that all customer requirements and needs are timely and clearly communicated to all related departments within ScanCom.
  • He/she is proactive in problem solving, training, big picture management and team motivation with the support and advice from the Team Leader.
  • Communicate directly or indirectly with customers in the market, as signed by Team Leader.
  • Support Team Leader to prepare and manage all required materials for meetings with customers either in Europe or Vietnam.
  • Support and guide the team for on meeting preparation in Vietnam.
  • Work with the Product Development Coordinator with information on collections, marketing materials.
  • Take proactive action with agents/customers and related departments.
  • Guide and ensure all changes are updated correctly by the relevant team member in D365.
  • Understand Product & Sales Operations procedures, implement and educate the staff, properly.
  • Build close interaction between Own Manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing Production unit, Quality Assurance and Technical Department.
  • Participate in customer meetings.
  • Supports the System Coordinator in troubleshooting by all daily activities. Transfers his experience and knowledge to the Sales Assistant.


C. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • At least 2 years of sales and marketing experience within in the B2b furniture industry, or experience from exporting industries or purchase order field.
  • Familiar with shipping and oversea trading.
  • Strong customer communication and relationship skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
