1. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:
- You will be responsible for coordinating & developing key accounts in the North American market – overseeing timelines & hitting critical milestones and work closely with key stake holders within ScanCom on executing our strategy to achieve overall sales targets. You will be supported by dedicated product development coordinator(s) as well as GOC (global order handling TEAM members) in HO CHI MINH CITY and report directly to the VP of SALES – based in Miami. Your role is to ensure that information from the different TEAMS is delivered accurately and on time and support the VP of SALES to grow the business – hence advanced project management skills are key in order to succeed in this role.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Planning: develop a comprehensive project plan on customer level, outlining objectives, scope, resources and timelines in close collaboration with the VP of SALES. This is focused towards achieving agreed forecast / budget and business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity, and timeline for each customer and prospect. It’s expected the candidate to work with the commercial procedures and contribute to the strong implementation at our customers and together with our all of their team
- Leadership: assemble and lead “projects” with different stakeholders within ScanCom – assigning tasks and ensuring effective communication upstream and downstream.
- Execution: oversee the implementation of project phases (especially in product development, but also order handling turn around) – ensuring adherence to the plan.
- Time management: monitor timelines, addressing delays and ensuring milestones are met
- Stakeholder communication: serve as the primary contact for the VP of Sales in Miami – providing updates and gathering feedback.
- Risk management: identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Documentation: maintain accurate records of project / customer progress, decisions and changes & being able to highlight GAPS.
- Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed sales strategy and approved sales target and activity plan per fiscal year.
- Manage product/service mix collaboration with the allocated team for effective use of development resources, pricing and margins according to agreed aims. The role also involves close cooperation with our internal planning (PPM Own Manufacturing / Contract Manufacturing) and administration of e.g. tasks sales forecasting and monthly reports to be submitted to the VP of SALES – AMERICAS.
- Create and manage customer service solutions, policies, concepts and corrective operations together with the team allocated and the VP of Sales – AMERICAS.
- The candidate will support the VP of SALES AMERICAS to present & take customer meetings at the showroom in Vietnam, together with other company functions ( Product Management (PM) / Global Order Center (GOC)/ QA) necessary to perform duties and aid business development. The candidate needs to have a track record of managing customer accounts and be on the front line – being able to speak with stakeholders at different levels.
- Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Record, analyze, report and administer according to D365 requirements with the support of the GOC TEAM.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
3. WORKING RELATIONSHIP:

Be cooperative with responsible people from relevant departments including PPM, PM, GOC, QA, Technical dept, Finance dept, Marketing, Production to follow up the business project

Cooperating with the people from relevant stakeholders, North American customers

4. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor Degree, major in Business
- Strong project management, negotiation and communication skills, able to convert plans into action.
- Flexible – able to work across different time zones to meet the schedule of the VP of SALES based in Miami, Florida (EST time zone).
- Familiarity with dealing with North American customers.
- Is comfortable and performs in a high stress, ever changing & chaotic business environment
- Solid skills in MS office
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese is mother tongue.
- Strong in building / growing genuine partnerships
- Strong customer communication and relationship skills, strong public speaking and presentation skills, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Commercial understanding - must be able to “show the way” through a personal charisma and punctual communication
- Knowledge of housing trends and movements in- and outdoor “know how” from the garden furniture segment
- Proven ability to effectively operate and communicate in a matrix environment and work effectively with business management, customers, and across business and organizational boundaries.
- Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives. Highly motivated, “can do” attitude with strongly influential management skills.

- Working time: Full time working hours in ScanCom Binh Duong and flexible approach in evening hours Vietnam time to remote with VP of Sales Americas and North Americas customers
