A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:

- Identify, evaluate, and select Contract Manufacturers/suppliers with a strategic (medium to long-term) and manage supplier relationship

B. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:

* Responsibilities:

- Category management (e.g., Wood CM, Alu CM, metals, packaging, logistics) depending on the assigned category.

- Market research to identify potential suppliers.

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers with a strategic (medium to long-term) perspective.

- Request for information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ).

- Supplier evaluation (quality, cost, lead-time, sustainability, risk)

- Supplier contract negotiation and onboarding.

- CM/Supplier relationship management, with regular scheduled face to face meetings at CM/supplier site, sometimes jointly with other ScanCom functions, to review supplier performance and resolve any issues.

- Order allocation to CMs/suppliers.

- Monitor and solve any issues in production or shipment plan to secure delivery plan to customers: drawings, inspection, shipping marks, shipping documents, etc

- Manage and support team members to carry out their tasks on time, working closely with different departments to have on time shipments

- Carry out other tasks assigned by the procurement manager.

* Authorities:

- Decide and solve issues within department, reaching company targets on order and shipment

- Payment request approval for shipping documents

- Order placement

- CMs, Suppliers

D. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Must requirement:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, trading or operations in the furniture or related industries.

- Level: Diploma or University degree Foreign Trade, Economics, Quality, or any Technical major.

Important requirement:

- Language: Good standard of English

- Computer: Good in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

- Problem solving skills; good communication to different departments and partners and stakeholders.

- Proactive, dynamic and learning growth

- Systematic approach

E. WORKING CONDITION:

- Working place: ScanCom Vietnam, 01A Phan Chu Trinh Street, Quy Nhon Ward, 

Gia Lai Province, Quy Nhon CMs, and Ho Chi Minh City area or Dong Thap as directed by ScanCom Viet Nam. Frequent travel may be required

- Working time: Full time
