* GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:

- Accountable for: design, packaging sample, testing sample, calculation optimize loading on the container, provide optimal drawing to secure quality and target cost.

* RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:

* Main responsibility:

- To work closely with Customer, Sales, PM to apply packaging protocol such as packaging specifications, packaging requirement update the latest version.

- To work closely with the technical team during design new sample on how to do packaging and loading is the best (carton dim, type of carton/pallet, packaging material….)

- To check the carton box drawing, the packaging process creates better packaging at the lowest cost.

- To lead the PA technician to make the packaging sample.

- Provide loading cont follow Sale’s requestion

- Responsibility to research and evaluates new packaging materials for sustainable development.

- Implement, coordinate and follow up the assigned project.

- Support relevant department in technical aspect like design carton box, optimize loading on container, develop new packing material.

- Discuss and agree with PPD/Production for each of new item or new packaging update impact to WI of the factory.

- To do some related test for the package and cooperate with Test lab for internal transit test, drop test, rotation test... as customer protocol. Then provide a test report to customer/sales/system.

- Provide packaging drawing to Purchasing, BOM team for the price.

- Secure setting and control packaging options on D365 system is accurate.

- To study carefully and approve the specification of new material, related to packaging.

- To work together with factory OM or CM when having the packaging/loading problem.

- Propose and follow customer or internal packaging improvement solution.

- To audit a carton box supplier and explain to supplier ScanCom packaging standards.

- To work closely and contact/feedback to PM, Sale, PU, Prod Unit, QA, PPM, TD technical, PA team and Cushion team for a quick problem-solving solution & suitable action to keep PFD/ETA’s commitment.

- Request stop production in case the packaging affects the quality or potential risk to the customer.

* Key success factor

- Products delivered on time, passed all relevant tests with the target price TPTP

- Improve the first pass rate of prototype to 85%

- Deliver sustainaibility packaging projects e.i. significant reduction of EPS/foam. on unit loads

* Duties related IMS Representative:

- Maintain the IMS system on site with follow up of master list of documentations and ensure the up-to-date versions are used at responsible site

- Review and continually improve the established procedures, work instruction, forms at responsible site

- Review and approve the establishment of new documentations at responsible site

- Comply and remind relevant persons at responsible site about the procedures, work instructions, regulations, etc. in the system.

- Monitor the agreed KPI, Risk Evaluation and Objective, follow up the implementation of improvement plan including the CAPA raised by relevant departments.

- Train the new comers on IMS management system at responsible site

- Conduct self internal audit for responsible sites, with CAPA follow up done for NCs found

- Actively participate in external audit or internal audit performed by group IMS compliance team.

- Proactively contribute the improvement ideas to IMS management

- Monthly participate in IMS system compliance review, which is chaired by IMS Management team.

- Monthly share the site IMS system compliance report to IMS Management team.

* WORKING RELATIONSHIP:

* Internal:

- Working closely to PM, IOC/Sales, CDD, PPD, QA, PU and Production Units in SCVN.

- Communicate Technical Director, Manager or leader on the daily job, the assigned projects and basic report.

* External:

- Communicate with CM about the technical drawing.

- Material suppliers if need.

* EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

 * Must requirement:

- College Degree above, major in Mechanic or any of Technical field

- At least 02 years working experience in Technical field as design, R&D, project, component structure

- Knowledge of Technical software (2D & 3D): Autocad, Inventor.

* Important requirement:

- Able to use Vietnamese and English.

- Technical packaging/loading cube soft: understanding technical structure.

- Proactive, dynamic and learning growth.

- Personal ownership.

- Ability to handle and manage projects up to medium level of complexity.

- Good communication, motivation, problems & solving, teamwork, time management.
