Job description

A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:

-   Supervise testing activities in Test Center (Soft-line team)  

-   Perform testing activities of Soft-Line tests in Test Center

-   Make a report after conducting the testing

-   Maintain and repair testing equipment in TC capability

-   Testing as assigned in Testing ability

-   Support to carry out Hard-line testing activities under requesting of direct

   management after completion of Soft-line testing.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:

Main responsibility: 

·   Supervise testing activities in Test Center –Soft-line team

ü Responsible for overall supervision of the team.

ü Instruct and observe technicians perform the test correctly.

·   Perform testing activities of Soft-Line tests in Test Center

ü Receive the test products and arrange for the testing schedule.

ü Control tested produtcs by receiving test request/ samples and update the

     Sample Master-list

ü Implement testing the product as required standards or specific SCVN or

     customer test procedures.

ü Prepare the report for issuing and explain the testing status of test products.

·    Maintain and repair equipment in TC capability

ü Check the tool and material used for testing (make sure all materials can use in 15       days and not delay the job because not enough material).

ü Repair & improve testing equipment in Scancom’s capability.

ü Control testing equipment that is used in your testing activities to make sure they

     are available and in good using condition.

-     Support to carry out Hard-line testing activities under the request of direct

     management after completion of Soft-line testing

Other tasks:

-    Responsible for the implementation of internal labor policies and regulations of

   ScanCom Vietnam

-    Comply with other requests from direct management.

-   To coordinate/work closely with another Department worker / Supervisor /

    Manager.

1. Internal: Contact all related departments

-    Production Department

-    TD Department

-    R&D Department

-    Quality Assurance Department

-    Sales and Marketing Department

-     Procurement

2. External: When required by direct management

-    Supplier

-    Sub-contractor

3.1 Superior: Manager

D. EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

Must requirement:


-  Graduated from a College or University, major in Mechanical or any of Technical fields

-   Have at least 02 years of experience working in a laboratory or related work.

-   Knowledge of management systems: ISO 17025

-   Knowledge related to furniture

-   Knowledge of quality control

Important requirement:


-  Communication in English at intermediate level

-    Computer: Good use of office computer - MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,...)

-    Knowledge of test methods, and technical standards for furniture (ASTM, ISO, EN, BS, ANSIbifma)

-     Hard-working & careful

-     Dynamic, creative, development-oriented

-     Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management
Willing to work overtime

E. Working conditions:

-     Working place: ScanCom Vietnam, Song Than 1 IP, Di An Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province, Viet Nam

-   Working time: Full time.
