GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:
- ScanCom social compliance system at own manufacturing (OM): Maintaining the social compliance over the requirements from labor laws and relevant laws, local and international standards and the Code of Conduct or standards from customers.
- ScanCom social compliance management at ScanCom’s contract manufacturing (CM): Monitoring social compliance audits’ CAPA and support to upgrading the social compliance performance at ScanCom’s
- ScanCom sustainability: Responsible to coordinate and support the assigned and defined sustainability development projects over the stages of deployment, implementation, monitoring, measuring and reports over the programs and projects from ScanCom, Lars Larsen Group, strategic customers and government.
- Customer experience: Serving as the primary contact point including accountability & responsibility for all customer matters, including compliance with customer requirements and social/ethical standards such as IKEA IWAY, BSCI, SMETA, ICS, and other relevant frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
Main responsibility:
SOCIAL COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT:
- Regularly review the intergrated management system (IMS), social compliance system and sustainability system with recommendations for closing the system gaps.
- Ensure up-to-date the compliance profile and tool-kits
- Ensure social compliance and business risks be escalated to management with proposal on solutions.
- Working with relevant functional people on root causes analysis and workable/practical CAPA (corrective action and preventive action) plan on request.
- Develop necessary social compliance and sustainability training materials and arrange the awareness to relevant people and management for both ScanCom and supply chain.
- Conduct social compliance audits, assessments, reviews regularly to evaluate and verify the compliance and risks over the requirements from laws and standards for all SCVN factories and SCVN’s suppliers if needed.
- Ensure to close all the NCs from the CAPA for all the audits.
- Weekly/monthly reports on the compliance status (best/poor practices) with remediation and prevention proposal if needed.
SUSTAINABILITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
- Responsible to coordinate and support the assigned and defined sustainability development projects over the stages of deployment, implementation, monitoring, measuring and reports over the programs and projects from ScanCom, Lars Larsen Group, strategic customers and government including:
- CO2 Climate Roadmap, UNGC, SBTi, CSRD, Energy saving projects, SSI, IREC, DPPA, Gigaton, Manufacturing 2030, CBAM, etc and sustainability reports submitting to Group and customer
- Other sustainability projects if required by customers, group in coming time
- Coordinate and follow up SCI ESG Group and LLG in sustainability and projects
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
1. INTERNAL:
- Professionally cooperate with relevant departments including HR, Finance, HSE, Production, Maintenance, Purchasig, Sales…., functions on maintaining the flow of the business, the implemention and improvement of the ESG and sustainability system.
2. EXTERNAL:
- Professionally cooperate with all the people from local authorities and stakeholders in maintaining the business.

3.1 Superior: HR & ESG Director
3.2 Coordinator: Coordinate and follow up SCI ESG Group and LLG in sustainability and projects
3.3 Subordinate: Social Compliance Assistant Manager
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Must requirement:
- University degree above, major in Enviroment , Health & Safety Enviroment or related field
- Having practical experience on ISO 45001 or OSHAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and one of social compliance systems as BSCI, SEDEX, ICS, IWAY management system.
- Over 10 years in ESG, HSE, social compliance audit.
- Good experience on deploying and implementing related sustainable development projects as energy saving, CO2 reduction, Higg, SBTi, carbon reduction…
- Fluently in English
- Good Microsoft Office Application, especially Microsoft excel and Powerpoint.
- Knowledge on the local laws & standards, international and customers’ standards
Important requirement:
- Able to travel for business when needed.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Professional and supportive in work within the organization and external parties.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working place: Working time will be mainly in Tien Giang branch. Business travel is required when necessary.
